Plasma Biotal Ltd. require a Maintenance Assistant to join their Production Team

We are seeking a reliable, practically skilled person to join our maintenance and production team for installation, calibration and maintenance of our equipment and machinery and general production tasks.

Perform general maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment across multiple sites/units in Tideswell and Buxton. Identify maintenance needs and address them proactively. Respond to maintenance requests from departments/sites promptly, prioritising tasks based on urgency and ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Collaborate with management to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, minimising equipment downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and inspections. Ensure the availability of necessary materials for repairs and maintenance tasks. Assisting with Production operations where required. Ability to work safely and effectively on your own or as a two person team. Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving abilities. Take pride in keeping things tidy and well-maintained. Strong organisation and time management with good attention to detail. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience in engineering or mechanical knowledge. Engineering, electrical or mechanical qualifications would be advantageous but not a necessity as full training on repairing our equipment and machinery will be provided. Driving licence required.
Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week)

Monday to Thursday 8am - 5.15pm

Friday 8am - 1pm

22 paid holidays per annum + bank holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
