Maintenance Assistant

RAD Hotel Group

5 days over 7 including weekends

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant who will work primarily at the Brig o' Doon House Hotel, but also at the Fairfield House Hotel and occasionaly at our other Ayrshire venues.



The successful applicant will be tasked with grounds maintenance such as gardening, power washing, weeding, trimming etc. Also, there will be maintenance of the property including basic maitenance tasks. You will also assist with laundry, waste and transporting of guest luggage to ensure the smooth running of the hotels.



As a Maintenance Assistant, you will carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks correctly and efficiently ensuring a safe environment for guests, visitors and employees. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be an effective communicator and possess excellent knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations. You will be organised and react promptly and efficiently as requested to meet the needs of the business.

What you'll need:

Previous experience within a maintenance role. Some basic plumbing / joinery experience highly beneficial but not essential. Flexibility is required as the role will involve weekend work Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication skills Driving Licence is essential
