At Trinity House Care Home, we provide exceptional Residential, Nursing, Respite, and Dementia care for up to 55 residents in a modern, purpose built home maintained to the highest standard. Our environment plays a vital role in supporting the comfort, safety, and dignity of everyone who lives and works here.


We are now looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to take responsibility for the day to day upkeep of the home, ensuring the building, grounds, and equipment remain safe, compliant, and well maintained at all times.

What You Will Do

As Maintenance Assistant, you will carry out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs across the home, including redecoration and refurbishment works. You will maintain accurate maintenance request records, complete and update the maintenance log book and water management log book, and support the home with all property and estates related matters.


You will hold overall responsibility for health and safety within the scope of the role, including managing hot works permits, ensuring compliance certificates and records are up to date, and accompanying contractors on site when required. You will also support routine safety checks, fire systems testing, and ensure the home remains compliant with all relevant regulations.

What We're Looking For

You will be practical, organised, and able to work independently while communicating effectively with the wider team. Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role is desirable, particularly within a care or residential setting, but not essential. Most importantly, you will take pride in your work, understand the importance of safety and compliance, and be committed to maintaining a welcoming and well cared for environment.
