Overview

The Maintenance Contracts Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of service and maintenance contracts across a diverse client base. Combining strong technical expertise in HVAC and gas systems with proven people management experience, this role ensures compliance, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction at every stage. The position requires overseeing budgets, driving health and safety standards, and fostering continuous improvement while supporting the growth and development of the maintenance division. Acting as both a leader and mentor, the Maintenance Contracts Manager will coach and develop staff, build and maintain client relationships, and ensure workflows and communication remain consistent across all contracts. This role is key to maintaining high standards of service, upholding company values, and contributing to the wider growth strategy of the business.

Technical Specification

Knowledge and experience of service, maintaining HVAC systems and components Technical knowledge and experience of fault diagnosis on HVAC systems and components Technical knowledge and experience of domestic and commercial gas systems and appliances Building and maintaining new and existing client relationships Communicate and liaise with auditors to ensure completion and compliance Monitoring S&M budgets to ensure financial performance throughout jobs Strong understanding of compliance in accordance with Health and Safety and Legal which include industry compliance for the company and client contracts i.e. gas Experience in estimating and submitting quotes Ability to identify and resolve any ongoing issues Experience in People Management
Responsibilities

Oversee client contracts

Prepare and submit accurate quotes

Organise and prepare jobs with all necessary resources, including materials and parts

Ensure value is achieved from every job

Demonstrate the values of the business at all times

Coach and mentor maintenance employees

Recruit and onboard new employees

Provide ongoing feedback and development

Carry out reviews and appraisals

Hold regular meetings

Be responsible for cost control

Work with the MD on project department growth

Ensure onsite health, safety, and compliance

Learn from lessons learned and continuously improve

Be available for on-call manager assistance

Carry out training and toolbox talks

Ensure consistent workflow and communication

Enhanced DBS Driving Licence (Max 6 Points) 5+ Years Experience in FM and Maintenance Services 2+ Management Experience HWWS Commercial Gas Accreditations M365 experience

Pay: 40,000.00-55,000.00 per year
