Fusion Joinery are a bespoke joinery solutions company based in the North East of England. We take on a selection of residential, commercial and local authority projects from home improvement work through to commercial joinery and maintenance for large UK wide businesses.

We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance contracts programme and support our hardworking maintenance team.

Based from our Newcastle office, you will managing multiple contracts and overseeing pre-paint maintenance repairs on a variety of ongoing, long-term Local Authority and Social Housing maintenance contracts in the North East of England.

Duties:

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the team performs high quality essential joinery and maintenance tasks within various domestic and commercial settings for our long-standing clients.

Reporting directly to the Contracts Director, this role requires a hands-on approach to managing a team, as well as the ability to oversee the timely delivery of completed works to pre-agreed timescales and required standards.

Essential:

Previous work within Social Housing or Local Authority with a minimum of two years previous experience in a similar supervisory role.

Full UK driving licence and valid CSCS Card.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work. Attend contractor meetings and deliver effective maintenance solutions to our long-standing portfolio of clients. Coordinate projects related to maintenance improvements, ensuring timely completion within budget. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of materials and fixings. Ensure compliance with company health and safety procedures within the maintenance department. Ensure any new staff members make use of available iHASCO training programmes and adhere to best practices at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising teams effectively. Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple contracts simultaneously. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are required.
