, you will be a Maintenance Coordinator within our Engineering department.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the core function of the role is to support the Engineering Team in all aspects of maintenance planning, scheduling, spare parts control, and record keeping. This role is key in ensuring Engineering operations run efficiently and in full compliance with corporate, statutory and HSE requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain and monitor all Engineering records and systems, including CMMS, service contracts, statutory and training records, TPM and Maintenance Excellence data
View, update, and manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs
Provide maintenance performance data to stakeholders
Order and control spare parts and manage contractor support as required
Deliver training across the factory within areas of technical expertise
Support Engineering Management with information, reports, and planning data as needed
Ensure full regulatory and corporate HSE compliance, maintaining audit readiness at all times
Support shutdowns and project activities aligned with business needs
ABOUT YOU
Required Experience:
HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline, or relevant demonstrable experience within a similar industrial environment
Good general engineering knowledge across mechanical and/or electrical disciplines
High level of software proficiency within a maintenance and planning environment (SAP experience desirable)
Experience in managing MRO and contractor budgets
Required Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Strong planning and report-writing ability
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
