City & Guilds Electrical Installation or equivalent and City & Guilds Wiring Regulations
Experience:
Proven experience in electrical maintenance in a commercial or industrial setting
Technical Skills:
Strong electrical knowledge and problem solving abilities
Safety-Minded:

Team Player:
Ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours as required between 08.00am and 16:00pm over a 5 day period.
Main duties
As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of our hospitals. Your responsibilities will include:
Electrical Maintenance:
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime and disruption.
Technical Support:
Providing expert technical advice and assistance to colleagues and clients.
Safety Compliance:
Adhering to strict safety regulations and industry best practices.
Key requirements
To carry out a range of repairs, installation works and planned maintenance work on a multi-trade basis requiring specialist knowledge across a range of work procedures and practises.
To diagnose and repair electrical faults on engineering installations, plant and equipment.
Act as team leader as required, co-ordinating/directing the work of others.
To undertake training and development to increase your knowledge and capabilities.
To undertake a range of complex work of a multi trad nature.
To use skills extended beyond the core trades to aid diagnosis and maintenance activities including installation, maintenance and testing of medical gases and associated equipment.
To undertake the role of HTM Authorised Person in areas of core skills.
