Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the electrical systems within our facilities are maintained and functioning efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools. The Electrician will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and minimising downtime through effective troubleshooting and repairs.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues. Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting systems. Utilise hand tools and power tools to carry out installation and repair tasks effectively. Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement solutions promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to support overall facility maintenance efforts. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar maintenance role is essential. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical maintenance are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: 36,478.00-37,740.00 per year
