Shift Details:
The shift for these roles as follows:
3 weeks - 06:00 - 14:00 - Monday to Friday
1 week - 14:00 - 00:00 - Monday to Thursday
On a rotating basis
Start Dates:
One role available immediately
Two roles starting in July 2025
Your Mission
As an Engineer at Puratos, your mission is to ensure the factory operates safely and efficiently on a daily basis while actively contributing to the reduction of production costs. You will support factory performance and drive continuous improvement towards Operational Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and international food safety standards (HACCP, PRP, BRC, FDA, Halal, Kosher, allergens)
Support and execute instructions from the Process Improvement Manager/Engineering Manager
Deputize for the Engineering Manager
Promote a safety-conscious workplace and comply with Health & Safety policies
Seek continuous improvement in work practices using Manufacturing Excellence techniques
Align maintenance with production and asset strategy, logistics planning, and quality and safety regulations
Identify and implement process improvements with senior management
Maintain process equipment to minimize breakdowns and unplanned downtime
Ensure building and services maintenance meets insurer and independent report standards
Balance maintenance supply and demand effectively and efficiently
Organize maintenance operations for optimal effectiveness
Monitor facilities and staff on the shop floor
Manage related KPIs and maintenance expenditures
Maintain utilities & HVAC installations (compressed dry air, water, electricity)
Monitor energy consumption and related activities
Support lifecycle, asset, and risk management of utilities & facilities equipment
Manage investment projects for utilities, facilities, and automation
Oversee calibration activities on production equipment (weigh systems, temperature, flow measurements)
Support CAPEX plans as required

Ideal Candidate:
Electrical Engineering qualifications, time-served engineering qualifications
At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a comparable production environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficiency in data processing tools like SAP and Excel
Knowledgeable in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques and autonomous maintenance principles
