In this critical role, you will ensure all compressed air and vacuum equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably directly contributing to the productivity and operational excellence of our clients. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, applying a hands on approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
Must have permanent residence within central scotland
Strong mechanical and electrical background
Demonstrated experience in compressor, vacuum, and pressure systems maintenance
Ability to access, interpret, and report maintenance activities via a digital planning instruction and reporting portal
Must be able to travel and occasionally stay away from home to support works across industrial, agricultural, healthcare, and research facilities
Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record
Willingness to participate in the on-call rota as part of the maintenance team (Additional on call pay enhancement)
Honest, reliable, and of good character, may require to complete (Disclosure Scotland background checks)
Polite and professional approach to work
Takes pride in being a team player and contributing to the growth and success of the company
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Compressor / Vacuum systems / Pressure Systems Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge. MGPS CP Certified would be advantageous however full training and certification will be provided for the correct individual.
Experience of working with logic controllers and electrical control systems.
Excellent team skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals effectively.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken, for clear communication within the team and across departments.
A proactive approach to problem solving with strong attention to detail.
