Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm OR 9am to 5pm (Hours to be discussed at interview)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

Responsible for maintaining and complying with Health & Safety standards thereby minimising the risk to themselves and others, ensuring safety comes first.

Understand and comply with all relevant company site rules, agreements, policies and quality procedures.

To ensure the safe, efficient and effective methods of problem solving, repair, maintenance and rectification techniques.

Contributing to providing advice and expertise in the electrical and mechanical engineering field to ensure conformity and statutory safety requirements and contribute to meet business objectives. The post holder will contribute to work planning, technical information and reports as required.

Investigating site failure or deterioration and recommending and carrying out remedial action, monitoring the effectiveness of remedial maintenance or modification work.

Experience with Co-Pack Systems

: Familiarity with Nulogy is desirable.

Automation Experience

: Essential for the role

FMCG Experience

: Essential for the role.

Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering Background

: A background with a bias towards electrical engineering is essential.

IT Literacy

: Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is required.
