Job description



The Job Purpose:



Reporting to the Maintenance Shift Section Leader, taking responsibility & ownership for delivering a high-quality engineering support to Production in the achievement of operational goals and targets.

To complete the full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within the department that they work. To rapidly diagnose and resolve both mechanical, electrical, and basic control & instrumentation faults.

Key Areas of responsibility:



Day to day upkeep of Production Equipment Reacting to breakdowns quickly in order to reduce downtime Supporting implementation, commissioning & launch to new and refurbished equipment Any other duties of a similar nature or at a similar level of responsibility Understand equipment faults and how to resolve Programme fault finding and modification via PLC Planned preventative maintenance tasks Read drawings electrical mechanical, Hydraulic and pneumatic Problem solving Implementing Quality countermeasures Ensuring PPM's are completed to plan 5S within the department

The Person:



Minimum Electrical and Electronic Engineering Level 3 BTEC HNC Electrical (Desirable) Understanding of drawing and engineering principles Ability in Maths Ability to work quickly under pressureGood practical, technical and communication skills Good communication skills

Working schedule:



Monday to Friday /days and backs rotation

DAYS Monday - Thurs 07:00-15.30, Friday 07.00-12:00 BACKS Monday - Thursday 14:55- 23:00, Friday 11:55-16:35 Overtime available
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 21.24 per hour
