Job description
The Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Maintenance Shift Section Leader, taking responsibility & ownership for delivering a high-quality engineering support to Production in the achievement of operational goals and targets.
To complete the full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within the department that they work. To rapidly diagnose and resolve both mechanical, electrical, and basic control & instrumentation faults.
Key Areas of responsibility:
Day to day upkeep of Production Equipment
Reacting to breakdowns quickly in order to reduce downtime
Supporting implementation, commissioning & launch to new and refurbished equipment
Any other duties of a similar nature or at a similar level of responsibility
Understand equipment faults and how to resolve
Programme fault finding and modification via PLC
Planned preventative maintenance tasks
Read drawings electrical mechanical, Hydraulic and pneumatic
Problem solving
Implementing Quality countermeasures
Ensuring PPM's are completed to plan
5S within the department
The Person:
Minimum Electrical and Electronic Engineering Level 3
BTEC HNC Electrical (Desirable)
Understanding of drawing and engineering principles
Ability in Maths
Ability to work quickly under pressureGood practical, technical and communication skills
