About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our flexographic print and lamination site in Castleford. You'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment to minimise downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Replace motors, bearings, couplings, and drive components Strip and rebuild pneumatic diaphragm pumps (incl. ball kits) Diagnose faults with support from OEMs and external engineers Log all maintenance activity accurately Work safely and follow all site H&S procedures
What We're Looking For
Maintenance experience in manufacturing or packaging Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills Comfortable working independently on breakdowns and PMs Experience with pumps, motors, and inverter drives Relevant engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship 17th Edition (or newer) electrical qualification preferred
