Overview

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineers to work with a variety of our clients based across Central Scotland. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all equipment operates at peak performance. The Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards while providing excellent customer service and leadership within the team.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers and schematics. Conduct mechanical repairs, including welding as necessary. Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and improve operational efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.

Experience

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics and work with logic controllers. Experience in supervising teams, showcasing leadership skills and the ability to motivate others. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with team members and customers. A background in customer service is advantageous, ensuring a focus on client satisfaction.
