Job Description

As part of a multi-skilled team, working a 3 shift rota, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent team working attitude, communicate with people at all levels, have a hands-on approach to problem solving, lead by example, train new starters and work under their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site reactive maintenance and general building repairs. Carry out planned preventative maintenance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to production during maintenance work. Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met. Conduct risk assessments and participate in accident investigations. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Skills & Requirements:

Industry-recognised trade qualifications desirable. Electrical qualification or experience desirable. Previous relevant experience Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage tasks under pressure. Knowledge of food industry regulations and compliance. Flexibility with shift changes when required.

Salary:

dependent on experience (+10% shift allowance)

Shift Pattern:

3-shift Rotation (currently, 04:00-13:00 / 08:00-17:00 / 13:00-22:00 but subject to change)
