07.00-15.00 - subject to discussion. Flexibility will be required to help cover the evening shift 13.00-23.00.

Salary Range

18.25 per hour

Summary of position:

Responsible for maintaining the production machinery and site equipment to ensure minimum down time and production efficiency, working closely with Health and Safety in delivering Safe systems of work.

Primary Responsibilities



Ensuring all Health & Safety is adhered to as per TPP policies and procedures Promoting and leading by example a culture of working safely, "Safe Systems of Work" Assisting with the implementation and development of Risk Assessments and Work Instructions Issuing of permits including Hot Works Permit, Working at Height Permit and all Permits to Work Reporting of hazards and near misses and accidents As Maintenance Technician you will be the point of contact for TPP Production department in ensuring an effective and efficient service is delivered, having flexible break times in reducing machine downtime Responsible for fault finding and installation First Line response to site and equipment breakdowns, performing effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximise availability Responsible for dismantling and reassembling plant and equipment in the production environment ensuring good housekeeping practices are maintained Maintaining Planned Preventative Maintenance Analysis of issues to root cause and development of counter measures, improvement actions/ suggestions Maintaining maintenance documentation Maintaining stock of critical parts and consumables Provide accurate information assisting the generation of technical purchase orders Fabrication of simple stands guarding and tables etc. Responsible for the housekeeping of the Maintenance department locations and offices Undertake continuous training and development
