Are you bright, fit and capable of carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair work?

Do you have current skills and experience with both mechanical and electrical engineering with preferably an electrical bias?

Linecross is one of two world class manufacturing facilities in the Linecross Group handily situated in South Luffenham in Rutland, East Midlands. We work in partnership with some of the biggest and most prestigious names in the Automotive, Public Transport, Off-Highway and Leisure Sectors.

Mon to Thu

10:00am - 6:00pm (8:00am - 4:00pm during probation for training and orientation)

& Friday

6:00am - 2:00pm with a 30 minute unpaid break each day.

No Weekend or Bank holiday working

unless on overtime.

Voluntary overtime opportunities available.

A starting pay rate of 36 - 40,000 per year approximately dependent upon the successful candidate's skills and experience.

You will be required to

maintain and repair the equipment, machinery, tools and systems used within the production facility. Planned and reactive maintenance on the production lines is also required.

You will need to be

multi-skilled with an electrical engineering bias and have competence and experience with hydraulics & pneumatics, electricals, welding & fabrication; and tooling repair, preferably within an automotive manufacturing environment.

You MUST have

an electrical engineering bias but also possess good mechanical engineering knowledge and have previous experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

You MUST have

excellent attendance and a great work ethic to make the grade.

You MUST have

good English skills (reading, writing and spoken word) and maths skills to carry out your daily work in a safe and productive way.
