Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance and repair tasks, demonstrating proficiency in various technical skills. This role requires an individual who can effectively manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across various facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers for automated systems. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff or apprentices during maintenance projects. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service throughout the repair process.

Experience

Proven experience in maintenance roles with a focus on electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and general repairs. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and the ability to read schematics is essential. Previous supervisory experience is advantageous, along with strong leadership skills. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
