Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be able to maintain and repair various systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in repairs and installations. Operate logic controllers for automated systems, ensuring they function correctly. Supervise maintenance staff when necessary, providing guidance and support. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues promptly. Perform welding tasks as required for repairs or installations.

Experience

Proven experience in a maintenance role with a focus on mechanical systems is essential. Strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read schematics is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with team members and clients. A background in customer service will be beneficial for maintaining positive relationships within the workplace.
