We are on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to help us keep our business premises in top condition. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team passionate about quality, community, and all things Cornish.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the infrastructure across all of our sites, including our factory, warehousing, office spaces, and retail unit. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, well-organised, and take pride in keeping our facilities functional, safe, and looking their best.

This is a varied and practical role that involves both planned and responsive maintenance work, ensuring our buildings remain in excellent condition and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections and carry out planned preventative maintenance Perform a variety of repairs and improvements, including: Plumbing - fixing leaks, maintaining pipework and basic systems Carpentry - repairing doors, frames, shelving, and bespoke wooden features Painting & Decorating - maintaining interior and exterior finishes General Construction - minor building works, installations, and repairs Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance issues and breakdowns Help implement and manage a rolling maintenance plan Support site safety by identifying hazards and resolving issues proactively Coordinate with external contractors when specialist work is required Maintain records of work and report on ongoing maintenance projects
What We're Looking For:

Solid experience across multiple trades, especially plumbing, carpentry, and decorating A practical and adaptable problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude Good understanding of health and safety regulations Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Full UK driving licence preferred
