Maintenance Manager
In line with our continued growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to lead our service operations. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance and engineering teams, ensuring the efficient delivery of maintenance, service and commissioning activities across our client base.
This role requires a balance of leadership, technical expertise and commercial awareness, with responsibility for driving operational efficiency, client satisfaction, compliance and revenue growth
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Maintenance/Service department, including engineers, admin staff and key account manager.
Oversee planning, coordination and delivery of maintenance schedules, ensuring SLA and KPI compliance.
Manage commissioning and testing activities for new and existing systems.
Act as primary point of contact for clients, maintaining high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
Approve maintenance quotations, remedial works, and additional service requests.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, regulatory, and company standards.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to the engineering and service teams.
Drive process improvements and adoption of new technologies within the maintenance function.
Monitor and report on departmental performance, budgets, and resource allocation.
Skills & Experience
Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
Financial awareness and budget management experience.
Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Contract management and negotiation experience is desirable.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a maintenance or engineering environment.
Relevant technical qualifications in mechanical/electrical engineering (HNC/HND or equivalent).
Health & Safety certifications (NEBOSH / IOSH) desirable.
Knowledge of fire protection systems, water mist or suppression systems advantageous.
Strong IT skills, including CRM or maintenance management software.

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
