The Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced

Maintenance Manager

to take ownership of the hotel's facilities and ensure everything runs like clockwork. From making sure our guests have hot showers to keeping our fire safety systems in check, you'll play a key role in delivering a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all maintenance operations within the hotel - guest rooms, public areas, and back of house Lead and develop a small maintenance team Carry out daily checks, PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance), and repair works Manage external contractors and service providers Ensure all equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrics, life safety) are compliant Maintain health & safety and fire safety standards in line with legislation Manage maintenance budgets, stock levels, and reporting Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimise guest disruption Support the hotel team with the smooth running of daily operations

About You

Previous experience in a hotel, leisure, or facilities maintenance role (essential) Recognised qualification in plumbing, electrical or building services (desirable) Strong knowledge of H&S and statutory compliance Organised, hands-on, problem solver Calm under pressure and solution-focused A team player with great communication skills Positive attitude and passion for high standards Flexible to work occasional weekends and emergency call-outs
