Our purpose built 71-bed nursing and dementia specialist care home in the heart of Rubery, combines modern comfort with classic charm, offering a welcoming home for people who need care & support. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking and growing organisation. As the Maintenance Manager at The Oaks Care Home, you will be placed at the heart of the home along with the people that live here. your role will be to ensure the premises and grounds are maintained to a high standard and provide the residents with a safe, comfortable and pleasant environment in which to live. Your role is important to the health, safety and care of the people who live in, work in and visit the home. This role is suited to a people person, because your role will entail supporting the people who live in the home to live as freely as possible, through a well maintained, supportive environment. You will be required to adhere to all our policies and to attend all our training, including supporting people living with dementia as well as key policies such as privacy, dignity, inclusion, diversity and equality.


We are looking for someone that has experience working as Maintenance Manager in a residential / nursing home, working to deadlines. You will need to demonstrate strong IT skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and to be able to learn other software applications.

It is essential that you have experience in a similar environment.
