We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and proactive Maintenance Manager who has previous experience to oversee the maintenance and compliance operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in upholding the quality, safety and functionality of our buildings and public spaces, ensuring a consistently exceptional living experience for our residents and commercial occupiers.
Responsibilities
Deliver first class customer service and resident engagement
Manage working relationships with suppliers and contractors
Support completion of annual H&S and Fire Risk Assessments
Identify any H&S or security issues on site and work together with the General Manager to find a resolve
Review & Monitor all suppliers on site and follow RAMS where required and comply with H&S and CDM/Stat Requirements
Carrying out weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Risk Assessments/PPM testing and maintain accurate records
Emergency/Incident Escalation
Responsible for storage of on-site maintenance supplies & materials and keeping an inventory and stock control.
Maintain accurate H&S records & reports online using Prism.
Manage and reduce OpEx operational costs, including approval and query of invoices
To respond to resident enquiries on our APP in a timely manner and co-ordinate/close jobs down in a timely manner
Allocation of Job sheets for technicians coming onto site
Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
Support On site inspections/walk rounds. Should aim to build detailed knowledge of the building as soon as possible.
Submitting material and supply requests to the General Manager for review of procurement.
Supporting General Manager in the procurement of contractors and suppliers.
Co-ordinate the preparation of amenities for resident events

Skills
Proven management and leadership abilities with supervising experience in a maintenance environment
Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously
Extensive mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to troubleshoot complex systems
Knowledge of H&S and Compliance/Use of Prism or Job Logic advantageous
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for clear instructions and reporting
Ability to motivate teams, foster a safety-conscious culture, and lead by example
