Maintenance Manager

Location:

Hemswell, DN21 5TU

Shift Pattern/Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm

Yearly Salary:

55,000 - 60,000

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead and develop our engineering team, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and long-term reliability. You'll play a critical role in ensuring equipment availability and performance across our site while embedding a culture of ownership and high standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead, coach, and inspire a team of 28 engineers, including 7 direct reports, to deliver operational excellence through efficient maintenance strategies. Use data and KPIs to identify trends, drive performance improvements, and support strategic decision making. Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders across operations, planning, and leadership teams to align maintenance with site goals. Champion and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles and foster a continuous improvement mindset. Take full accountability for the department's performance, safety, and development. Manage maintenance budgets effectively, balancing cost, reliability, and risk. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety standards and best practices.

What We're Looking For:



Proven experience leading a fast pace maintenance function within a manufacturing, production, or similar environment. Strong coaching, people leadership, and team development skills. Highly analytical and data driven approach to problem solving and process improvement. Demonstrated success implementing TPM or similar reliability programs. Solid understanding of budget control, planning, and resource allocation. Clear and confident communicator who can engage all levels of the business. 5 Years Supervisory capacity managing a multi-disciplined Engineering/Maintenance team

Qualifications:



Recognised Engineering/Maintenance apprenticeship, Mechanical/Electrical or Multi Skilled to C&G & HNC academic levels, HND desirable. IOSH Managing safely
