Maintenance Manager - Greenways Care Home, Glasgow

Located near the River Clyde, Greenways Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built luxury residence offering exceptional residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care for up to 58 residents. Designed for comfort, safety, and quality of life, Greenways is more than a care home - it's a community built to feel like home for everyone who lives and works here.


We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Manager to keep our home running smoothly, safely, and looking its best. Your work will be vital to ensuring residents enjoy a comfortable, secure environment while supporting our care team to deliver exceptional service every day. This is a hands-on role with real purpose, helping to create a beautiful, well-maintained space that residents are proud to call home.

Contract

13.00 per hour Pension Onsite Parking Paid DBS/PVG Uniform Provided 5.6 Weeks Annual Leave (Based on a full-time contract)

What You'll Do

As Maintenance Manager, you'll take pride in keeping our beautiful new home running smoothly, safely, and looking its best. From fixing a leaky tap to maintaining fire systems and lighting, your hands-on expertise will ensure every corner of Greenways functions perfectly. You'll oversee safety checks, monitor maintenance supplies, and keep accurate records, ensuring full compliance with regulations. Beyond the practical, you'll play a vital role in the presentation of our home - maintaining its high-quality finish, caring for the grounds, and ensuring our gardens and communal areas are always inviting.


You'll work closely with the Home Manager and Estate Manager on improvement projects and installations, supporting the development of a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. With flexibility and pride in your work, you'll help make Greenways a home that always feels cared for and ready to welcome residents, families, and visitors every day.

About You

Proven experience in general maintenance or a similar practical role. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude. Sound understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards. Organised, reliable, and able to manage your own workload effectively. Professional and friendly when supporting residents, visitors, and colleagues. Experience in care, hospitality, or housing maintenance is desirable but not essential.
