We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within Holiday Inn Manchester Oldham. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to manage projects effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for all machinery and equipment. Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, repairs, and installations, ensuring timely completion within budget. Troubleshoot and resolve issues Read and interpret schematics to facilitate effective repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and compliance with safety regulations. Foster a culture of safety within the team by adhering to all health and safety guidelines. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the facility.

Experience

Proven experience in a management role within a maintenance environment is essential. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Comprehensive mechanical knowledge coupled with electrical experience is highly desirable. Previous supervising experience is required, demonstrating effective leadership capabilities. Proficiency in English is necessary for clear communication across all levels of the organisation.
