We are located in the village of Thornton-le-Dale with excellent transport links to Pickering, Malton and Scarborough. The Hall is a beautiful, Grade II-listed building that delivers exceptional care to all our residents.
An opportunity has arisen for a conscientious and committed individual to come and work alongside our dedicated team as we are looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager who can boast the following attributes:
Perform weekly and monthly Health & Safety testing and inspections.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and working practices
Maintain the home's appearance and grounds to our exacting standards.
Carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance around the home.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, audits and repairs.
Carry out PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing) of all electrical items.
These tasks are essential for providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents to live in and ensures our home operates efficiently and in line with Company policies, procedures and legislative guidelines.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be hardworking, well organised with a proven track record, have a clean driving licence, own vehicle and tools.
The position is full time, 40 hours per week over 5 days. In the event of emergencies, there would be a need to be available for out of hours (on call) if required.
This is a hands-on role and appropriate experience and relevant qualifications in minor electrical, plumbing, joinery and an understanding of central heating systems is desirable.
