Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. This role is integral to ensuring the management and growth of the department, contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of technicians and coordinate maintenance activities across various clients, fostering a proactive approach to service reliability and safety compliance.

Duties

Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing clear direction, training, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and clients. Manage repair schedules, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues with minimal disruption to operations. Oversee the day to day running of the maintenance department. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals to diagnose faults accurately. Coordinate projects related to maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines. Ability to meet with clients, scope and draft scopes of works. Management of subcontractors as required. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments. Manager our service delivery inline with client KPI's.

Requirements

Proven management experience in a building maintenance environment, preferably within industrial settings or trade back ground. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously. Extensive knowledge of building surveying. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising field based teams of operatives. General construction knowledge combined with experience is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay: 38,000.00-55,000.00 per year
