We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager working with a Maintenance Assistant to oversee the maintenance operations within our organisation.
This role is generally 4.5 days per week, with Monday's essential and working alternate Saturdays along with holiday cover where required.
Key duties for this role include:
Contractor control
Keeping the outside areas and hotel grounds of the hotel clean and tidy
Completing day-to-day maintenance tasks
Assist and lead weekly Spa clean and assist with management and safe operation of 3 swimming pools
Cleaning of patios and external areas
Painting and decorating in public areas and guest bedrooms
Interacting with staff and guests in a friendly and professional manner
Must have own tools and own transport*
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programmes, including scheduled inspections and preventative measures.
Oversee the repair and servicing of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, installations, or modifications, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring timely procurement to prevent operational delays.
Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to health and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, repairs.
Experience
Previous hotel maintenance experience essential
Pool plant knowledge essential
Full UK driving licence is required for this role
