Role Overview
The Maintenance & Operations Assistant will be responsible for responding to and resolving property issues quickly and efficiently, carrying out routine checks, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of operations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to use software applications to track maintenance and stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to and resolve maintenance issues across all properties promptly.
Carry out regular inspections to ensure properties are guest-ready.
Manage and maintain stock levels, including linen, cleaning supplies, and other essential items.
Work proactively with the operations team to anticipate and prevent issues.
Use company software and apps to log, track, and update maintenance tasks and stock management.
Support contractors and external service providers when required.
Ensure health & safety standards are upheld across all properties.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities, or a similar role.
Strong practical skills in general repairs (plumbing, electrics, joinery, etc. desirable).
Organised and proactive, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Comfortable using technology and software apps to manage workflows.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A full UK driving licence and access to transport is desirable.
