Maintenance Operative - Materials Recycling Facility (MRF)

Salary: Competitive + Overtime

Full-time | [06:00- 16:00 or 07:00- 17:00]

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Operative to join our team at a busy Materials Recycling Facility (MRF). You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing and dealing with blockages on the machinery to ensure smooth and safe operations across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on recycling equipment (e.g., conveyors, balers, shredders).

Diagnose faults and perform basic mechanical repairs.

Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.

Work closely with the operations team to reduce downtime.

Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.

What We're Looking For

Ideally Experience in a maintenance or engineering role (MRF or industrial setting preferred).

Some mechanical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexible with working hours, including occasional weekends or call-outs.
