Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. This role requires a proactive individual who pays attention to detail in order to uphold our five-star standards for facilities. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment, managing grounds maintenance, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Duties

Carry out light repairs, including joinery and painting. Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various groundskeeping tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all tools and equipment used in grounds keeping activities. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries promptly and professionally. Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs performed. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Previous experience in Joinery work. Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential. Proficient in the use of both power tools and hand tools relevant to gardening tasks. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment is advantageous. Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy objects. A keen eye for detail with a passion for maintaining 5 star standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
