We are looking to recruit into our maintenance team.

Part time post working Monday and Tuesday each week ( potential to vary around Bank Holidays)

Working job share with our current maintenance person.

Salary: 13,50 per hour

St Cyrils is a neurological rehabilitation service outfitted to assist service users with brain injuries.

Requirements for Maintenance Person

Maintain the overall appearance of the nursing home, bedroom fixtures & fittings.

Personal Responsibilities

Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management

Previous experience in maintenance and compliance desirable

Must be skilled in general maintenance such as painting and decorating, general repairs and aware of own limitations

(Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Role Monday - Tuesday (emergency call outs if and when needed )

Pending DBS check

Carry out general repairs. Maintain high standards to decor & paintwork throughout the home. Perform preventative maintenance throughout all areas of the home. Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and legal responsibilities including COSHH, Fire Regulations, Environmental Health and RIDDOR. Undertake all mandatory training Carry out Fire Marshal responsibility for the home when on shift , assist in Fire Risk Assessments yearly. Ensure residents' satisfaction (and their visitors) by performing duties such as attending to requests and inquiries courteously and promptly as logged in maintenance schedule. Maintain favourable and productive working relationships, including good communication, with all team members and other departments. Liaise directly with outsourced contractors, ensuring they provide a high quality, value-for-money service. Ensure that all Health and Safety audits and checks are completed in accordance with procedures prescribed by the Home or by Regulatory Bodies (such as Fire testing and Emergency Lighting etc). Check all company vehicles. (Fuild Mot Tax etc) Qualified in Pat testing / willing to do course Book all governance for the building liaise with contractors Develop and implement strategies to proactively address maintenance issues. Complete the daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules. Ensure that the physical plant, boilers etc are operating in a safe, efficient, and orderly fashion by directing all phases of maintenance, repair and renovation. Prioritise maintenance tasks to ensure the Home's service levels are not adversely affected. Address maintenance tasks promptly, setting and meeting appropriate time deadlines Ensure external areas are clean and tidy Attendant department meetings Support across the Impression group Must hold a driving licence
