Based in Coniston within the Lake District National Park, The Coppermines Lakes Cottages are a long-established business with around 90 self-catering cottages in the South Lakes area.

Due to company expansion, we are looking to recruit a skilled and suitably experienced maintenance person. Working from our estate yard in Coniston, Cumbria, you will assist in the maintenance of our holiday cottages as well as working on several projects, including the fitting out of our new shepherds huts.

The ideal candidate will provide a high-quality maintenance service across our commercial, residential and agricultural properties. You will also be involved the in the completion of our new car and coach park facilities in the centre of Coniston village.

In addition to the required experience the successful candidate will be able to work in a physically demanding role, have a strong team working ethic, plus possess excellent customer care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels.

Duties are wide ranging and a flexible approach to work is required. The post is full time, Monday to Friday, including the occasional Saturday half day on a rota basis.

We can offer an above average wage, negotiable subject to experience.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence. A works vehicle will be provided to the successful applicant during working hours.
