We require a Maintenance person to provide maintenance support and undertake required safety checks at Redwood House (Broughty Ferry) Limited.
This is a key role in ensuring that we provide a comfortable and safe environment for those resident in our care homes.
We are seeking applications from individuals who have good basic DIY skills, numeracy and literacy and a full Driving Licence. You should also be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
You will be required to carry out completion of paperwork/audit checks on a weekly and monthly basis.
It would also be helpful if applicants had some knowledge of Portable Appliance testing and/or Legionella control and had qualifications/ experience in plumbing, electrical work or joinery.
The position is for 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Actual working hours will be discussed at interview.
As the job entails working with vulnerable adults the preferred candidate will be subject to a Protection of Vulnerable Groups check.
