Maintenance Support (volunteer Role)

Llandysul, WLS, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

The quiet satisfaction of a job well done.

If you're the sort of person who notices the dripping tap before anyone else hears it, knows where the WD-40 is without looking, and finds fulfilment in doing things properly... we may have just the place for you.

At Skanda Vale Hospice, our environment matters. It's been shaped with real care so that patients, families, and volunteers feel safe and relaxed. And that atmosphere doesn't maintain itself -- it's thanks to people with good hands, good judgement, and a steady, practical kind of kindness.

We're looking for support for our maintenance team to help keep everything running smoothly: from routine checks on boilers and lighting, to the odd lick of paint, to making sure the place is as safe as it is beautiful.

You'll be supported by our Maintenance Lead, work at your own pace, and become part of a team that genuinely appreciates what you do (and isn't above admiring a nicely repaired handrail).

If reliability, quiet craftsmanship and a sense of purpose sound like your cup of tea, we'd love to meet you.
