Job description

To manage the provision of engineering support to the Tamworth site to ensure manufacturing and distribution targets are met and to implement best practice throughout the function.




Shift Role : 42 working hours per week with paid break.




Shift Pattern: Shift Rotating Pattern (6am to 3pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 6am to 12 noon & 14:30pm to 11:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 11:30am to 17:30pm)

Responsibilities

- Ensure all HSE process and procedures are followed.


- Ensure the effective management of site engineering to maximise machine uptime/efficiencies utilising PM or appropriate project teams.


- Ensure PPM is carried out and monitored in accordance with the plan and schedules and that critical spares are managed.


- Management of site maintenance systems


- Manage small engineering based projects to support LEAN manufacturing initiatives


- Set up, maintain and review service contracts


- Coordinator engineering contractors as required issuing Permits to Work and ensuring all appropriate controls are in place.


- Development of direct reports through appraisals, coaching and appropriate training.

Working Environment:


Factory environment, process produces dust, vapour and fume Noise zone in Powders. PPE will be provided in accordance with site/task requirements.
