Job title: Major Injury & Casualty Associate

Location: Southampton

Salary: \xc2\xa365,000 - \xc2\xa375,000 + Depending on Experience

PQE Level: 4-6 PQE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time

My client is a UK top 50 law firm, recognised for their market-leading major injury and catastrophic loss team, who are currently seeking a mid to senior-level solicitor to join them. The work would see you act on behalf of some of the UK\'s most notable insurers, as you handle complex and high-calibre workloads. For the right individual, this role presents the chance to hone and develop your skills and knowledge within a highly established team, giving you the platform to build your own profile and caseload as a recognised lawyer within the sector.

As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for:

• Tackling a busy caseload of contentious and non-contentious catastrophic and large loss injury claims, ranging from RTA to EL/PL matters.
• Assisting partners and seniors on highly complex and high value work, with a focus on defendant matters.
• Working in a fast-paced and commercial working environment, this can be as an individual or as part of a wider team.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Demonstrable experience of handling higher value claims, particularly on the defendant side.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under time constraints and towards important deadlines.
• Familiar in working within a commercial law firm.
