ABOUT STEPHEN

Stephen is a young man who lives with his family in South Ayrshire. Stephen likes to be out and about daily, going to the cinema, going along to his local pub to play pool and his local snooker hall, going out for lunch. Stephen loves listening to bagpipe music and attending bag-piping events. Stephen is very passionate about sports, especially rugby, badminton, football and swimming. Stephen enjoys travelling by bus to where he is going in and around Ayrshire.

Stephen is looking for a support Practitioner who:

Shares similar interests


Has excellent communication skills


Is patient and has the ability to remain calm


Is respectful and sensitive in their approach


Is open minded and non judgemental


Has a willingness to learn


Has the ability to work on a 1:1 basis


Has the ability to work to a routine and structure


Is chatty with a good sense of humour

Stephen requires a Support Practitioner who:

Understands that all behaviour is communication


Has awareness or experience of supporting people with learning disabilities


Has a social care qualification or willingness to work towards this
