Management Accountant, Fontwell, West Sussex

Full Time but Part time hours will be considered

Salary dependant on experience

We are looking for a dynamic Management Accountant to join our friendly team working in the manufacturing and construction industry at our offices based in Fontwell.

This is an opportunity to join a local growing SME, experiencing an exciting time of growth.

You will take ownership of the management accounts which includes:-

Accrual, Prepayment, Depreciation and Payroll month-end journals*
Balance Sheet Reconciliations*
Budget setting and Forecasting*
Variance Analysis*
Job Cost reporting*
Accounts and KPI commentary for Shareholders and Senior Management Team*
Annual Budget setting*
Coordination of year end stock take and Audit*
Coordination of the company's day-to-day financial transactions*
Line management of the Accounts Manager and Accounts Assistant*
Deputise for direct reportees to cover all aspect of P/L, S/L, VAT Returns and Payroll.*

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Experience in the production of management accounts (with at least 3 years experience within a management accounting-focused role)*
A recognised accounts qualification or be "qualified by experience"*
Line-Management experience*
Competency in using software systems*
Strong Excel skills*

The following would also be desirable but not essential:-

Experience of working in the manufacturing and construction industry*
Construction Industry Scheme/Reverse charge VAT*
JCT Contracts*
Use of a stock ERP system*
