This will involve and is not limited to:
Assisting respective property managers with production of monthly and quarterly financial reports for external clients to include expenditure reports using property software Propman.
Generating expenditure reports for property managers on monthly /quarterly basis for all clients and adjust expenditure under different expense codes in line with service charges budgets.
Liaising directly with the bank on banking matters. Opening new bank accounts for service charges and reserves for new clients.
Managing general ledger maintenance, journal preparation and account reconciliation at year end. Identifying and investigating variances arising between actual & budgeted figures on the preparation of the reports and discussing them with the relevant parties.
Providing various reports from Propman and Excel statements as requested by the Client, property managers or any other team member.
Production of the VAT returns & journal entries.
Generating & issuing new rent & service charges demands on quarterly, six monthly & annual basis as per strict company policy.
Entering new properties onto Propman, detailing client & property details, using Propman import sheet
Entering and adjusting any outstanding creditors from previous managing agents onto Propman.
Liaison and coordinate between new client and previous managing agents for smooth transfer of all relevant documentation.
Answer day to day enquiries from contractors, clients & internally from other colleagues.
Maintaining and updating database on day to day basis.
Quarterly client reporting for onward submission.
Preparing documents for financial accounts and service charges reconciliation within four months of year ending and make sure to get and send final draft accounts to company directors with 20 weeks of year ending.
Complete any other day to day tasks and share job responsibilities when any team member is not available.
Undertaking various duties as instructed by the Sr. Management on a daily basis.
Collating all required accounting information to provide Precontract enquiry replies.
Collating all required information in preparation for Annual General Meetings and Client Meetings.
Responsible for all accounting queries externally from Client and leaseholders and from internal team members for portfolio allocated to you.
Applicant should be at a minimum part qualified and preferable have previous property experience
