Job Title: Management Accountant



Reports to: The Directors



Location: Head Office - Blandford, Dorset

Management Accountant

C&O Group have recently gone through a restructure, and we are looking for a new Management Accountant to join our team.



We require either an experienced Management Accountant, or a confident up and coming postgraduate, who will help manage the day-to-day finance functions of the Group.



We are also open to the possibility of flexible working for the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities

Based within the finance department at the head office at Blandford, this role includes the following key priorities:


Cashflow analysis and reporting. Help prepare the monthly management accounts in an accurate and timely manner. Production and monitoring of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis. Month end ledger procedures. Assisting with the year end accounts preparation and providing information to the auditors as required. General assistance to the Directors. General finance and accounting tasks as required, including providing backup for absences within the department as necessary. Any other activities deemed within the scope of your professional capabilities that we may from time to time require you to do.

Person Specification

AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part Qualified or qualified by experience, or post graduate finance degree. Excellent IT skills including Excel and Word. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work to deadlines and to a high degree of accuracy. An enthusiastic individual with good attention to detail and able to work on their own initiative. * Willing to go the extra mile - for the good of colleagues and the company.
