We are looking to recruit a full-time Management Accountant to boost our busy Head Office team based in beautiful countryside in Castle Combe, Wiltshire.

This role recognises the recent and expected future significant growth of the Group. This position will be responsible for all management accounting processes for the largest entity within the Stonewood Group, Stonewood Builders, reporting directly into the Financial Controller.

JOB DETAILS



1. Preparation of monthly management accounts and other key management account information. Ensuring that internal and external deadlines are met, including the provision of information to the Financial Controller for monthly and quarterly reporting. Tasks to include;

Preparing monthly P&L and balance sheet for Stonewood Builders Reconciliation of balance sheet Reconciliation of inter-group accounts Sales ledger management and processing any relevant journals
2. Producing & Reviewing month end close reports including;

Aged Debt and Aged Creditor Reports Retentions for both Customers and Sub-Contractors Fixed Asset Register Accruals and Prepayments
3. Other Tasks include:

Preparation and submission of monthly VAT return Preparation and submission of CIS returns ONS reporting Companies House filing Supporting with year-end audit CITB Levy returns Review and finalisation of weekly payroll Short term cash flow updates Review of bank uploads / payments
4. You will also be expected to work closely with various stakeholders on a day-to-day basis, as required, supporting and providing key business information to support decision making.

5. Support the Financial Controller with various ad hoc duties and be the link between senior management and the accounts payable team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION



Essential



Experience in preparation of monthly management accounts Comfortable with advanced functionality in Excel, including filters, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS and Pivot Tables Able to handle and prioritise multiple tasks Able to work diligently and accurately with a keen eye for detail and high degree of first-time accuracy Willing to propose solutions to issues rather than simply report problems Willing to work as part of a team and prepared to accept responsibility for allocated tasks and actions Able to work alone and get tasks completed fully and on time Punctual and reliable Confident to communicate with both internal and external customers at all levels with courtesy and professionalism Willing to take on new tasks and a strong desire to develop personally to enable progress within the organisation

Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Experience of working in construction industry or house building

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
