Job Description

This role goes beyond reporting - you'll help make sense of the numbers, spot trends, challenge assumptions and partner with teams across the business to keep things on track. You'll bring clarity where it counts -- helping teams connect the dots between the numbers and the bigger picture.

What you'll do



Crunch the numbers to track performance, spot trends, and support planning and forecasting Pull together regular financial reports - management accounts, profit and loss, cash flow -- and add meaningful commentary that goes beyond the numbers Keep a close eye on spend, making sure we stay on budget and use our resources wisely Play a part in shaping strategy by advising on the financial side of key decisions Help identify risks and figure out how to manage or mitigate them Get stuck into the financial side of big projects - from negotiating terms to securing funding Help the team get confident with the numbers - breaking things down in a way that's clear, useful and easy to act on Work closely with managers across the business to make sure financial context is baked into everything we do Keep financial systems running smoothly and suggest improvements where they're needed as we scale Carry out internal audits to keep us compliant, efficient and on track

What We're Looking For



Part qualified or qualified accountant Demonstrated experience in a similar role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience interpreting data to inform decisions Strong excel/google sheets knowledge Seriously organised, with a sharp eye for detail A proactive mindset with the ability to spot gaps and seek out opportunities Confidence partnering with cross-functional teams A flexible, can-do attitude and a desire to get stuck in

Nice to Have



A background in sport and a genuine passion for the communities we support Being a keen athlete or a fan of endurance sports would be helpful (as you'll already understand our audience) but not strictly mandatory

Other Info



Our HQ is just outside Christchurch (BH23 7DX) on the south coast. We'd love for you to be onsite at least four days a week, it's where a lot of the magic happens! There may also be the occasional bit of travel thrown in.
