is a fast-growing, multi-brand textile and print manufacturer based in Denton, just four miles from Manchester city centre. We specialise in rapid, just-in-time production, delivering high-quality printed textiles and wallpapers to clients across the UK and beyond.
We are now looking for a
hands-on Management Accountant
to join our senior team. This is a key role within a dynamic and operationally focused business, where financial insight has a direct and immediate impact on performance.
The Role:
Working closely with the Managing Director and department heads, you will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and communication of financial data that supports day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, with commentary
Lead budgeting and forecasting across all departments
Analyse costings, margins, and production efficiency
Work closely with operational teams to improve cost control and accountability
Support stock and inventory valuation processes
Develop job costing models and profitability tracking
Assist with statutory reporting and liaise with external accountants as required
Maintain strong internal financial controls and identify process improvements
Be proactive, visible, and deeply involved in the business -- this is not a desk-only role
What We're Looking For:
Fully or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Strong experience in a manufacturing or product-based business
Preferably experienced in companies with a turnover of 5-10 million and headcount of 50-100
Commercially aware, with excellent analytical skills
Hands-on attitude with a willingness to engage operationally
Confident communicator with the ability to present to non-finance staff
Proficient in Excel and accounting software, Xero would be preferable
Organised, detail-focused and able to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
