About the role

We're looking for a diligent Management Accountant to lead the preparation of the management accounts for several of our smaller subsidiaries. The role will be focused on producing timely financial information and ensuring that the Group accounting policy manual is applied consistently across the subsidiaries.


You'll play a vital role in onboarding new businesses acquired as part of the wider MAB strategy to double our market share and enhance financial processes across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of the monthly management accounts for several of our subsidiaries. Own the balance sheet reconciliations for the entities controlled and review the balance sheet reconciliations prepped by the team. Assist with the onboarding of new subsidiaries into our accounting system, NetSuite, and ensure that best practices across the Group are followed. Line management responsibility of a team of two Junior Management Accountants. Ensure that the Group accounting policy is applied consistently. Work with the wider finance team to ensure that SOX controls are followed and provide support as necessary to help the implementation of these across the new subsidiaries. Collaborating with the Finance Business Partners to ensure that the business performance is appropriately captured and provide insight into the numbers as required.

About You

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICEAW, CIMA or equivalent) Keen interest in financial compliance, controls, and process improvement Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting processes Confident working with

large volumes of data

and producing accurate statistical summaries Strong attention to detail with a structured, logical approach to problem-solving Proficient in Excel Experience using financial systems or ERPs A great team player with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset Eager to learn, with a flexible approach to managing multiple priorities Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude NetSuite experience is desirable, but not essential.
