Are you a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team, delivering high-quality management accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients across both the hospitality and non-hospitality sectors.

Your New Role



This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:

Ensure timely preparation of all accounts and other Management Accounting reports within agreed deadlines Ensure balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation for all clients and troubleshoot areas of concern, managing client expectations and identifying and implementing corrective action Support training staff ensuring that the Department's objectives are achieved Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients and colleagues Give any necessary advice on Management Accounting issues to ensure that the Financial Controller, Client Delivery Manager and trainees understand issues Ensure detailed process and procedure manuals are in place for clients and regularly updated and monitor trainees adherence to these Maintain an awareness of developments in the field of Management Accounting to ensure the continued provision of a high quality professional service Work closely with the Financial Controller and senior accounting staff to keep abreast of client issues and requirements Challenge current ways of working, driving change & efficiencies wherever possible Ensure the highest standards of work are maintained Assist in other technical and administrative areas within the Company as may reasonably be requested Ad hoc duties as required from time to time by the Financial Controller and Client Delivery Manager

What will you need to succeed in this role?



As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:

Qualified/Part Qualified or qualified by experience within a similar fast paced accounting environment Ability to question the transactions and taxation and accounting rules that lie behind the numbers Ability to take ownership of workload management and be accountable to the client Enthusiastic with a willingness to resolve issues and ensure technical accuracy Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with staff and clients at all levels Ability to confidently deal with colleagues and develop strong client relationships Analytical and problem-solving skills
