Genix Healthcare own and operate NHS & Private Dental practices across the UK and currently undergoing a period of expansion and business growth. The team both at Head office in Gildersome, Leeds and in practice is growing and we therefore require an experienced Management Accountant

who can grow with the company and eventually potentially take on a senior finance role within the business.

Job Title: Management Accountant



Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Management Accountant to oversee financial planning, performance analysis, and budget control within our organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing strategic financial insights and supporting effective decision-making across departments.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts Analyze financial performance and variances against budgets and forecasts Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts Support cost analysis and profitability reporting for various departments or projects Produce financial reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations Liaise with auditors and assist with year-end audit preparation Provide insights into financial trends and recommend improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency Assist with the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes Support business planning and risk management activities

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) ESSENTIAL

Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or related roles Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders

Desirable Skills:



3-year post qualification Experience in industry minimum Knowledge of sage and Xero Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
