Role & responsibilities
Overseeing and reviewing monthly management account
Posting and reconciling all accounting journals
Preparing monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
Assisting with year-end financial statements and audit queries
Developing robust processes and controls to mitigate risk
Building a full understanding of internal procedures and systems
Gaining a strong grasp of financial instruments, revaluations, and settlements
What you need
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
Analytic and inquisitive mindset with a proactive attitude
Proven track record in preparing management accounts
Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS
Experience working within Energy, Oil & Gas or Utilities
